Pioneered by Greenville Grok and Brookyln Beta, 10/20's are small-group sessions where each person in the group is given the opportunity to lead a discussion around a topic of their choosing, for 10-20 minutes. Topics can be anything from a technical issue you've been struggling with, a project-management technique you're trying out, or beer-brewing ingredient suggestions. Get real, honest feedback on a piece of code, or your latest startup idea.
This event puts attendees in a close, one-on-one setting with speakers and organizers, and is the perfect opportunity to try to stump Joël with a math or physics question, or ask Mitchell Hashimoto to illuminate you on the finer points of Vagrant and virtual machines.
Located right in downtown San Francisco, the Engine Yard offices provide the perfect facilities for a conference of this calibre.
The venue is close to restaurants, shops, bars and all kinds of entertainment to keep you busy and happy after the official conference schedule.
